Association "From Ukraine with love"
The main activities of the Association include:
Promoting the dissemination and preservation of art and culture from the Republic of Ukraine in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. It aims to carry out associative activities focused on information, communication, representation and  defending the Ukrainian cultural heritage.

Presentation of the film "20 days in Mariupol"
"20 Days in Mariupol" is a documentary by journalist Mstyslav Chernov, winner of the Oscar for best documentary, in 2024 and that film had shown in the Noble Hall of the Legislative Assembly of Madeira. The film portrays the work of a team of Ukrainian journalists from the Associated Press (AP), held in the besieged city of Mariupol.

The Association of Ukrainians in Madeira "Da Ucrânia com Amor" organized a separate demonstration on the second anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine and ten years of war.

Unity Day of Ukraine
The Association of Ukrainians in Madeira "Da Ucrânia com Amor" organized a demonstration on the occasion of Unity Day of Ukraine in the center of Funchal city. The celebration of the Day of Unity, honoring the founders of the Act of Unification, is to preserve the light memory of countless victims that were given  by the Ukrainian people on the altar of independence, unity, statehood of Ukraine .

Day of Defenders of Ukraine
The Association of Ukrainians in Madeira "Da Ucrânia com Amor" organized a demonstration on the occasion of Day of Defenders of Ukraine and Ukrainian Cossacks Day in the center of Funchal city, near the Monumento aos Mortos da Grande Guerra. The purpose of this event was to honor the memory, draw the attention of local residents and tourists, and remind them of the war in Ukraine!

Independence Day of Ukraine
On August 24, 2023, Independence Day of Ukraine, a Festive Procession was organized from Teleferico (Funicular) to Jardim Municipal (Municipal Garden), followed by a Concert at the Amphitheater in Jardim Municipal (Municipal Garden).

Protest action in connection with the sabotage of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant dam
On June 24, 2023, the Association of Ukrainians in Madeira held a protest rally in response to the terrorist act committed by the Russian Federation – the sabotage of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant dam, which led to the largest technogenic catastrophe in Europe in recent decades.

Constitution Day
On June 28, 2023, on the Day of the Constitution of Ukraine, an event for children was held at Santa Catarina Park. The purpose of the event was to familiarize children with the main provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine and strengthen the bonds among participants in our community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our teachers, namely Olena Kulykova, Marina Svistunova, and Myroslava Dmytrukha, for organizing the celebration and working with the children.

Membership

The Association welcomes new members. Anyone who wishes to become a member of the association has the opportunity to choose between permanent or temporary membership types
To become a member of The Association please submit a registration form and pay a membership fees. Annual membership fee for individuals is 15 euros.Registration form is here.
